his section contains sample procedures for cooling tower
fans. The various procedures are easily modified to fit other
T T T T T types of equipment, and should be used as guidelines in the
development of other procedures.
In addition, the following flow charts are provided with the
same intent. These procedures and flow charts may be copied in
whole or in part to develop specific procedures for other equip-
ment.
Prior to performing any maintenance or procedures, safety
rules and regulations should be reviewed. A generalized safety
procedure is also provided. The following illustration shows the
logical flow of maintenance for a cooling tower fan.
The following flow charts are presented as amplifications of
the segments shown in Figure (P-1).
