22. Use only recently calibrated test equipment.
23. Assure all moving parts are secure, including any weight
added to fan blades, prior to operating the equipment.
CAUTION: Loose objects can become high-speed projectiles and
cause serious injury!
24 Inspect all extension cords for insulation, plugs, proper
grounding and proper wire gauge for the intended job.
25. Pay attention to the routing of electrical cables.
CAUTION: It may be advisable to cover cables in traffic areas to
prevent trips.
26. Keep path of cables as short as possible.
27. Unused cables and extension cords should be coiled and
stored out of the way.
28. Double check to assure no tools or rags are left in or
around the fan stack or shroud prior to untagging and
unlocking the power to the motor.
29. Thoroughly inspect your work area to assure it is left in a
safe manner.
30. Report any equipment or structural members that are un-
safe, to the proper authority.
31. Keep proper written notes. Do not rely on memory!
