Iteration planning meetings, daily stand-up meetings, introspection, and retrospective meetings at the
ends of iteration cycles reinforce and reiterate team member work commitments and team accountability
for results.
Self-organizing teams schedule their own work and take ownership for problems and solutions wherever
possible. For some teams, this may come naturally; for others, it can be a big transition that requires
training and encouragement by project managers and senior management.
