            It is seen that there is little loss of resolution in the interface, and very little cross-contamination occurs
            between the peaks, resulting from incomplete removal of each solute from the belt, prior to the next
            coating. The sensitivity of the system to carbaryl was claimed to be about 1 ng per spectrum, but the
            actual sensitivity in g/ml was not possible to calculate from the data available.

            Other Transport Systems

            In 1982 Alcock et al. [8] reviewed the various types of transport interfaces that were available at that
            time, with particular reference to their use with small-bore columns.
