an open mind and being able to recognize great ideas even when
you aren’t looking for them.

• New ideas almost always come about in one of two ways: when
someone thinks up a new idea and when mistakes happen.

• If you stick slavishly to what you planned to do, you could
miss better opportunities that might pop up along the way.

• If something comes up that you didn’t intend, don’t be so quick
to discount it as being wrong.

• The most highly realized creative thinkers are open to the gifts
of accidental brilliance.
