x ABOUT THE CONTRIBUTORS
Tommy Linstroth is head of Sustainable Initiatives for Melaver, Inc., where he has
overseen sustainable design solutions for fifteen LEED certified projects with a mar-
ket value of a quarter-billion dollars. He is the founder and past president of the
Savannah chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and co-author of the book Local
Action: A New Paradigm in Climate Change Policy. Linstroth received his M.A. in
environmental studies from the University of Charleston. He lives in Savannah,
Georgia.
Dan Monroe is one of the founding partners of Cayenne Creative Group, a strategic
branding firm located in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to forming Cayenne, he worked
as a copywriter for Leo Burnett in Chicago and Slaughter Hanson Advertising in
Birmingham. A writer by trade, he co-authored Identifying Courage and The Good
Books. His poetry has been published in numerous literary reviews.
Rhett Mouchet is Broker-in-Charge at Melaver | Mouchet and has worked in com-
mercial real estate in the Savannah, Georgia area for three decades. He holds a bach-
elor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and did post-graduate work at the
University of South Carolina and Armstrong Atlantic State University. Mouchet holds
the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, a professional sym-
bol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the real estate indus-
try. He lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife and three children.
Randy Peacock is head of Development and Construction at Melaver, Inc. and has
worked in the construction industry for more than twenty years. He is a graduate of
Georgia Southern and holds a B.S. degree in science, building construction, and con-
tracting. He lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife Stacey and their children, Abby
and Reed.
Justin Shoemake, Esq. is an attorney with the law firm of Stanley, Esrey &
Buckley, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a
J.D. from Duke University School of Law. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
Robert E. Stanley, Esq. is a founding partner in the law firm of Stanley, Esrey &
Buckley, LLP and a LEED Accredited Professional. His law practice is primarily
focused on commercial real estate development, with an increasing emphasis on sus-
tainable real estate development practices, including green leasing. He is a graduate of
the University of Virginia School of Law and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
Zelda Tenenbaum is owner and president of Tenenbaum Consulting. Prior to open-
ing her business, she was an instructor in psychology at Armstrong Atlantic State
University. Tenenbaum holds a master’s degree in psychology and has thirty years of
experience as a facilitator, coach, consultant, and educator. She has authored several
training manuals and a chapter in the workbook Leading by Stepping Back: A Guide
for City Officials in Building Neighborhood Capacity. She and her husband live in
Savannah, Georgia and Telluride, Colorado.
