Don’t prolong the Q&A period. When you are past the prescribed
time limit or sense the meeting has gone on long enough, say some-
thing like, “We have time for one more question,” answer that ques-
tion, and then stop.
Record the session. It’s helpful to have a video or audio verbatim
transcript—not only so you can see how you did, but also if the
subject matter is particularly sensitive. It’s not a bad idea to have your
own record of what you actually said.
