180 The Ultimate Palm Robot

At this point, you can use the Run menu to download the NS Basic runtime
and the Hello World application to the POSE. After they are downloaded,
choose Reset from the POSE menu. You should then be able to find and launch
the application on the POSE.

PPRK Programming with NS Basic

Now that you know how to use NS Basic to create simple forms, controls, and
applications, let’s redo the simple jig program in NS Basic. In this section we
will quickly cover building the application using the forms and controls in NS
Basic. Refer back to the “PPRK Programming with HotPaw Basic” section to
see how the simple jig program is supposed to function. If you just want to
load the application into NS Basic, we’ve included the project file in the
\Other Applications\SimpleJig directory on the CD-ROM.

Create a new project in NS Basic and add two buttons named Start and
Stop, and three labels to the main form as shown in the following illustration.
We named the controls as follows:
