1.1 Purpose
This section presents basic guidance for maintaining a safe incineration facility. The
first priority for safety is to protect plant personnel, contractors, and visitors at the
incineration facility. The second priority is to protect the physical plant of the inciner-
ation facility, including equipment and structures.
