Center of Intelligence Activities for Sixes That Develop That Center
Astute insight
Learn to differentiate your projections from objective
insights by honestly examining your own feelings and
motivations. This will help you clarify your intentions and
allow you to make better decisions.
Productive planning
Plan for both positive and negative scenarios and know
when to stop planning and take action.
Heart Center Empathy
Remain empathic even when someone’s behavior
bothers, hurts, or angers you.
Authentic relating
Be true to yourself even when you need or want
something from another person; don’t engage in
ingratiating behavior.
Compassion
Be as compassionate to yourself as you are to others;
factor you into your decision making.
Body (Gut) Center Taking effective action
Make decisions that are good risks, not just exciting ones;
take action using your gut as a way to bypass
overanalysis.
Steadfastness
When you are sure of a decision, believe in yourself and
hold your ground in the face of opposition; make sure you
do this in an approachable rather than a reactive manner.
Gut knowing
When you are unsure of what to do, engage in physical
activity (such as walking) and ask your gut for the best
alternative.
Enneagram Style Sevens
Like Sixes, Seven leaders have extremely active
minds. Unlike Sixes, however, Sevens make most
decisions so fast that their decision making may
appear nearly spontaneous. However, it is the
result of their ability to process large quantities of
information extremely quickly.
