A SYNTHESIZING MIND The Seven’s mind is called the “monkey
mind” because it moves rapidly from one idea to the next. Conse-
quently, Sevens are often creative, being adept at synthesizing
seemingly unrelated thoughts and developing innovative ideas.
However, this method of mental processing also causes most Sev-
ens to become unfocused, as their attention directed toward com-
pleting one idea or task becomes derailed by their focus on
another stimulating thought, endeavor, or person.
