                     Performance Reviews









                 PERFORMANCE REVIEWS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR developing your
                 employees. They are also valuable to you. When the reviews are
                 done correctly, your employees will learn how they are doing, what
                 they should be doing differently, what their strengths are, what
                 their weaknesses are, how they can improve, and what they need
                 to reach their full potential. You, in turn, learn how to help them
                 progress. To deliver valuable reviews, you need to invest in them,
                 plan them, and schedule them.
                    Unfortunately, some managers are reluctant to conduct these
                 reviews because the conversations are so personal, and if they are
