THE PREVIOUS CHAPTERS INTRODUCED THE principles, tools, and
skills for building strong interpersonal relationships and creating a
healthy departmental environment. This environment is referred
to as a problem-solving culture. Some of the building blocks of a
problem-solving culture come from understanding and effectively
resolving confl icts. So, what is a confl ict?
