IN TRANSITION—GAME CHANGER

up some of our control, new opportunities open up for us.
In many cases, we are able to expand our knowledge in
other areas, learn new ways of doing things, and possibly
even get clearer about what is really important to us at the
        end of the day.
The best way to get to the root of this perception prob-

           • What are some things that I can control? How can I
influence these aspects of the change?
           • What can I do immediately to take advantage of the
             situation?
           • Who can help me to figure things out and put
together a plan of action that moves me in a positive
             direction?

When you begin to explore new possibilities and/or set
new goals, it is important that you set expectations that are
