3.5.1.1 Loads
The considered load cases are dead, live, and seismic, which are based on the
Iranian National Building Code; Part 6: Loading [7].
Dead and Live Loads
The dead loads of the peripheral walls are defined in the model based on the
details from the field studies. The assumed dead and live loads are presented
in Table 3.10.
TABLE 3.10 Dead and Live Loads
Dead Loads
Peripheral walls with 20cm thickness 660kg/m
Parapet walls 123kg/m
Stories and roof 240kg/m 2
Live loads
Offices 250kg/m 2
Partition walls 100kg/m 2
Roof 150kg/m 2
Stairs 500kg/m 2
Equipment rooms 400kg/m 2
