                     Outlook

As we wrote this book, our goal was to introduce the reader to
the fascinating field of AI-augmented biophysical modeling. We
are convinced that combining these two worlds will enable the
development of new, disruptive solutions to help physicians de-
cide what is best for their patient, guide them towards the optimal
therapy: in brief, to enable a more precise medicine. The field is
moving very fast, and this book is only a snapshot of what the
community is currently researching and working on. However, we
hope it will inspire the reader to explore hybrid approaches, where
both physical knowledge and AI enrich each other. We cannot wait
for the next developments that will happen in the years to come.
What if we could have our own digital twin?

Disclaimer: The concepts and information presented in this book are
based on research results that are not commercially available.
