                      You Feel Broadly Adequate

                 ■ Bolster your self-confidence with self-assessment.
                 ■ Expect acceptance; you’re adequate.
                 ■ To get more confidence, do confidence-building things.

CONFIDENCE IS THE DRIVER BEHIND EVERYTHING IN THIS BOOK. People
are drawn to you; they want to be around you, do like you, learn from
you, and be highly thought of by you. People are happy to follow you
because you are more fun to be around.

If there are ten traits to becoming a leader, the first seven—no the
                  first eight—would be confidence.
                                             ƒ

I would rather have a confident individual than merely a smart or
competent one. An “A” student is fine and good, but not good enough.
                                             ƒ

Overconfident ones beat underconfident any day.
