            Professor Justin Lewis is Professor of Communication at Cardiff School
            of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies, and Dean of Research for the
            College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
              He has written widely about media, culture and politics. His books,
            since 2000, include Constructing Public Opinion (2001), Citizens or
            Consumers: What the media tell us about political participation (2005),
            Shoot First and Ask Questions Later: Media Coverage of the War in Iraq
            (2006), Climate Change and the Media (2009) and The world of 24 hour
            news (2010). His latest book is Beyond Consumer Capitalism: Media and the
            Limits to Imagination (2013). He has also written books on media audi-
            ences, cultural policy and media and race.

            Dr. Michael E. Mann is Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science
            at Penn State University, with joint appointments in the Department of
            Geosciences and the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute (EESI).
            He is also director of the Penn State Earth System Science Center (ESSC).
            His research involves the use of theoretical models and observational data
            to better understand Earth’s climate system.
              Dr. Mann is author of more than 200 peer-reviewed and edited publi-
            cations, and has published three books including Dire Predictions:
            Understanding Climate Change (2008), The Hockey Stick and the Climate
            Wars: Dispatches from the Front Lines (2012), and most recently, The
            Madhouse Effect (2016) with Washington Post editorial cartoonist

            Professor Richard Maxwell is a political economist of media. His research
            begins at the intersection of politics and economics to analyze the global
            media, their social and cultural impact, and the policies that regulate their
            reach and operations. He has published widely on a range of topics, from
