STEP 6: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER 161

                                   MY CAREER PROFILE
Think of the career profile as your template to help you
determine whether a specific job will be ultimately satisfying
to you and worth pursuing. Without this template, you may
end up accepting a job that looks good but ultimately takes
you off the best track and leaves you feeling frustrated, stuck,
unfulfilled, or miserable. The career profile is your touchstone
to help you make the best career decisions in life. By knowing
all the elements of yourself, you’ll be able to select a career
or start a business with confidence, assured that you are
hardwired to be brilliant at that particular activity. This
knowledge will give you both power and confidence—good
things to have when going on an interview or opening your
own business! This will help you see how you can have it all—
just maybe not all at the same time. Collect and review all
of the pertinent information you’ve gathered about yourself,
resulting from the exercises you’ve done in the previous
chapters and put them together to create a career profile
here. If you’ve skipped some of the steps, it will be obvious
which ones you need to go back and review.

                  My Personal Requirements
List your top four needs. (Exercise from Step 2)

                   1.

                   2.

                   3.

                   4.

                  My Ideal Working Environment
Describe your ideal work environment. Include the working
conditions, hours, environment, types of people you work
