Appendix A 152

                             EXECUTION OF THE INTERVIEWS
The selection committee consists of a leader and two members. The other persons from
the subgroup should act as observers. It should be decided which observers focus their
attention to the skills of the selection committee and which observers focus on the
        behaviours of the applicants.

        • The aim of the selection committee is to execute the selection interview according to the
interview model (see Chapter 5) and to acquire concrete and relevant information from
           the applicants (see Chapter 5).
        • The aim of the job applicants is to present themselves clearly and effectively. They
should use the skills described in Chapter 6.
        • The aim of the observers is to evaluate the selection/job application interview according
to the guidelines of Appendix B on role play (pp. 186–191).

4 Discuss the interview afterwards, according to the guidelines in Appendix B on role
           play (pp. 186–191).

                                    Role of interviewee
