               stewards and other ideal personnel you want. There will be some back and forth, and there will be gaps
               between presentation and approval. The approval levels for these types of agendas are busy managers
               who may only meet once a month.

               Business Benefits and Ramifications

               Management gets to see the desired span and impact of DG. This is yet another step in continuing to
               develop the understanding that DG is not a long-term addition to work, but a change in work. This
               activity also triggers the beginning of building out the DG framework and making it operational.
               Approach Considerations

               Be prepared with some simple examples of what and how the proposed DG stewards and custodians
               will operate, as well as the time commitment of training and long-term activity.
               Sample Output

               A list of stewards is a fairly simple concept, but the prioritized subject areas can be interesting.
               Conceptually, you need to present something akin to what is shown in Figure 11-12.
                  The DG framework will need some sort of guidance as to what is most important. The result will be
               fewer meetings if a prioritization scheme of relative importance of data areas is recognized.
               Tips for Success

               Plan to execute portions of this activity in parallel with others. It is likely that you will get conditional
               approval of the individuals who will be operating the DG framework. Then there will be changes or
