Communications Plan
A Communications Plan should be developed early in the life of the project to ensure that commu-
nication needs are identified and plans are established to meet those needs. The Communications Plan
identifies who needs information, what information they need, the frequency and vehicles for
communication, and the parties responsible for providing, consolidating, and disseminating the
information. By providing a structured plan, we ensure that each stakeholder gets what he or she needs
when they need it.
