that this “inner game” is influenced to a great degree by

           the behavior cycles we engage in with other people. The
           person-to-person loops that fill our small moments con-
           tinually shape us as human beings, leaving us either

           more or less effective than we were the day before.


           If you’re trying to gain competitive advantage, you
           should concentrate on muscling up the corporate psyche,
           because this is the hidden realm where results originate.

           Devote top management attention, and budget, to
           building these invisible assets.


           BACK TO THE FUTURE



           Strength training is important because, as the saying
           goes, “The weak get hit by sickness first.” I would
           add, “The strong get their turn at the food bowl

           first.” And that, of course, contributes to their get-
           ting stronger still.
