Fred Turner, in April 2008, at the Worldwide Convention,
made a statement that sums up the best of those ideals:

Who are we? How did we get here? 50 years a blur. . . .
Who do we thank for the ride? Not me, not you, not Ronald.
The company didn’t make the operators, the operators didn’t
make the company, ditto the suppliers. We made each other,
the three-legged stool.

I suggest to everyone: Find your own three-legged stool. Find
those folks who are the key drivers to your organization and do
everything you can to make them, feel, act, and be . . . your
partner.
