244 Finite Element Modeling and Simulation with ANSYS Workbench

Click on the Pull icon. Click on the Surface item in the Structure Tree to highlight
the circular surface. Click on the Pull Both Sides icon in the lower left Options
panel.

Pull the circular surface along the yellow pull arrow for a total length of 30mm,
as shown below. Click on Solid in the Structure Tree. A merged base stand
geometry is now created.
