In the half-model, the magnitude of the force applied to a face should be divided
by two. Change the Y Component of the force from -1000 N to -500 N in the
Details of “Force”.
The frictionless support is equivalent to a symmetry condition. Right-click on
Static Structural (A5). Choose Insert and then Frictionless Support from
the context menu. In the Details of “Frictionless Support”, Ctrl-click the
seven faces in the Graphics window as shown below, and apply them to
the Geometry selection field. Note that this step is especially important for
imported geometry with cut faces at the symmetry plane, because the pro-
gram cannot automatically detect symmetry regions as in the case of geometry
created internally.
