                              the sample with NaOH is higher, even up to 28 days. The acceleratory effect
                              does not reflect in increased strengths. The lower strengths in NaOH treated
                              samples is attributable to the plate-like and reticular morphology of the
                              hydration product with poor bonding characteristics.
