high-power lasers use fiber-based combiners, which enable multiple
pump injections (see Fig. 15.31).
Power Scaling of Continuous Wave Fiber Lasers
A typical design of a CW fiber laser is shown in Fig. 15.32. The high
reflector (HR) and output coupler (OC) are implemented with FBGs.
For most high-power CW fiber lasers, optical nonlinear effects are not
