hence the system loses its stability. From the simulation, it is clear that electri-
cal torque, stator voltage, generator speed, and turbine speed responses become
unstable after the fault in case of lower rotor resistance without SDBR. But incor-
poration of SDBR improves the balance of active power even in case of lower value
of rotor resistance and as SDBR is capable of increasing terminal voltage across
IG during transient and hereby improves system stability which is evident from
Figs. 9.31–9.34.
