what cast adrift without a ready reference.
In summary, then, this is not a theory or application text in the tra-
ditional sense of the word but is truly a guide and support for those
analysts who now find themselves required to immediately utilize the
technology in their laboratory.
My hope is that this text is small enough to be used readily in the
laboratory, a working manual if you will, but large enough to cover
the needs of a wide range of analysts.
