while recovering materials and energy so as to make them profitable.
We hope that key issues mentioned in this book and the creative use of tech-
nologies discussed here will make useful contributions towards enhancing
the effectiveness of industrial wastewater treatment, recycling, and reuse.
New advances may be assimilated using the framework discussed in this text.
We hope that this book will stimulate further developments and provide an
impetus for the wider implementation of industrial wastewater, recycling,
              and reuse technologies in practice.
