Confirming Your Appointment Charter
Directions
The confirmation of Your Appointment Charter is designed to make explicit
those factors that are often implicit or poorly understood during the difficult

agreements that you should make with your immediate managers. Use the fol-
lowing factors that constitute Your Appointment Charter. It may be necessary
to include agreements with other leaders or key stakeholders. This is especially
important if you are accountable to more than one person and/or team.
