Each will be an example of how you can apply what is in this book
to your own mobile workforce. We call these “freemiums”—they are an
added value to you for reading this book. We think you will find them—by
themselves—worth far more than the purchase price of the book.
Use these freemiums to collaborate, talk about your experience,
offer suggestions, and share with your colleagues. They are an added
value of this book, which we feel can help jump-start the development
of your mobile workforce.
` our teAm
The social media and mobile workforce tools available today gave us
the opportunity to write this book with the support of an online team
of experts who care about this book, each operating virtually from a
different location. Not for us the life of the solitary author bent over
a candle in front of the fireplace! Just like the powerful potential of
a mobile workforce working together while spread across vast geo-
graphical areas, we drew from the expertise, imagination, and experi-
ences of successful artists, business and community leaders, thought
leaders, and entrepreneurs from around the world. Some we inter-
viewed, some we asked to help us with the content, and some—such
as our families and friends—we just asked to encourage and to sup-
port us. We think the result of asking all these people to be a part of
our virtual team is far more robust than if this book had come from
just the two of us.
