Sometimes matters of the heart are concrete. As examples, David had
heart surgery about four months before we began working on this
book and Michael had heart surgery about a month before it was due
to the publishers. Our commitment to this book has moved far be-
yond anything physical, however—we have developed a passionate
desire to help leaders move to the more diverse, flexible, strategically
powerful, and healthy work environment that is the promise of mobile
workplaces everywhere. Our hearts are devoted to this future. Won’t
you join that journey with us? We hope you find some answers inside
the pages of this book and the mobile experience we will provide you
along the way.
