The remote digital nomads known as mobile road warriors are, in
every sense of the word, mobile. They stay connected through tech-
nology, regularly hunting and seeking the next Internet connection.
They are often extroverted, and must be organized and highly adapt-
able to the environment they travel to and work from. They like to rely
on technology and support from the corporate training, marketing,
and IT departments or groups within the enterprise. These employ-
ees and businesspeople are on the road and away from home and the
office a majority of the time. Their role is to move around to get new
business, maintain relationships, and represent their company’s offer-
ings in a professional manner. The need to deliver results keeps the
road warrior busy. This is a very capable, independent thinker who
likes the challenges presented by traveling and being constantly on
the road. The mobile road warrior can solve many issues and knows
when to ask for help.
