(ii) Solution Concentration – two methods are used to separate the metallic com-
pound from the many impurities generated during leaching: solvent extraction
and chemical precipitation (e.g., Eq. 10). Whereas the former is used to
concentration metals from dilute low-value leaching solutions, the latter is
used for more concentrated solutions.
