You drive to the local mall with the intention of visiting
several stores, getting a quick bite for lunch, checking with
several other stores if you have not found what you are
looking for, and then returning home. At the mall, you go
first to the department store, where you find a lovely per-
fume named Happy and decide to buy that for your niece. It
costs $25 dollars a bottle. Next, you visit a clothing store,
where you find a bright yellow shirt that would be just per-
fect for Shara marked down to $5 (a wonderful bargain).
You look through two gift shops but find nothing appropri-
ate. Tired but running late, you grab a soft drink and keep
looking.
The next two shops, a men’s clothing store and a sport-
ing goods store, do not have any suitable items. But at the
end of the mall is a recreation vehicle specialty store, and
you find a travel mug priced at $7, which you purchase for
your uncle. Relieved you have completed your shopping,
you return home. Turn to page 120 to answer the questions.
