You also can use associations as a storage technique. In this
exercise, you will practice looking for connections by mak-
ing associations and chunking information. Noticing con-
nections is a skill rather than a talent, and developing this
skill requires practice. Fortunately, there is an easy, low-cost
method for looking for connections. You will need a deck of
cards. Any set will do. This example uses a bridge deck.
