The HPLC-UV method, which was recently reported, can determine aliphatic amine in the atmosphere

down to the detection limit of 50 µg/m (8 h sampling) [35,36]. This method employs the diffusive
samplers (Fig. 1.3.12) which has eliminated the use of suction pumps during sampling using the NITC
coated filter.

Residual Pesticides and Herbicides in Soil and Water
In the analysis of residual pesticides and herbicides, most samples have complicated matrices. The GC
analysis, therefore, is practical for the compounds applicable to the GC methods which have a high
level of performance in separation and detection. In fact, GC methods are used to analyze many types of
pesticides and herbicides. However, a few applications of the derivatization-HPLC method have been
examined
