Sensitivity analysis

Sensitivity analysis is carried out to check the change in the ground response due
to perturbation in the parameters. Figures 7.6–7.8 show the results of the
sensitivity analysis. During the sensitivity analysis for a chosen parameter, the
other parameters are fixed with initially estimated values. These figures show
that the ground motion depends on the elastic modulus and the initial horizontal
stress coefficient during elastic behavior. If plastic deformation occurs, the
