                                  The equations presented above give the possibility to determine the
                           Bodenstein number for the liquid phase by means of an iteration procedure.
                                  For determination of fi, it is necessary to carry out an experiment for
                           obtaining the value of Bodenstein number for the cell only. The investigations
                           are carried out on the same installation but without the cylinder with the
                           packing. The value of fi can be calculated [74] by the equation:
