              plastics are unique in design terms in that they offer a wider choice of conver-
              sion techniques than  are available for any other material. A  simple container
              for example could be made by injection moulding, blow moulding or rotational
              moulding; light fittings could be thermoformed or injection moulded. In  this
              brief introduction to designing with plastics it is not possible to do justice to the
