13.2 FAULT RECORDER TESTING

These tests include the following:
1. Adjusting the prefault, fault, and postfault times on the fault recorder
units and check that they are working correctly for a simulated fault by
secondary injection. Check the operation of both the analog channels and
the digital channels.
2. Check that all points of analog channels and digital channels are trans-
ferred to the local and remote annunciator inside the substation.
3. Check that all points of analog channels and digital channels are trans-
ferred to the National Control Center SCADA system.
