manual, it provides the basic knowledge needed to understand the critical design
issues that directly affect equipment reliability.

This document covers pumps, fans, blowers, fluidizers, conveyors, compressors, mix-
ers and agitators, dust collectors, process rolls, gearboxes/ reducers, steam trapdcon-
densate, inverters, control valves, and seals and packing.
