Figure F.15, a book revision process begins with the receipt of a final draft from
the author. There are three simultaneous paths that could begin immediately:
new cover design, issue new ISBN, and proof. Notice that the edit task cannot
begin until both the proof and the begin layout editing tasks are complete.
Likewise, the finish to printer task cannot begin until the final proof and new
cover design tasks are complete.

Using Green Belt XL Add-On
Open a new or existing file (or import an MS project file) in the MindGenius
application.
Select the Gantt View from the Project menu.
Enter each new task using the New Task option in the right mouse menu.
Define task duration, priority, status, and due date (if any).
Use the Resources menu to assign tasks to individuals.
Link tasks (using the right mouse Link Tasks option) to define tasks that must
be completed before subsequent tasks may be started.
Use Hierarchy settings to define subtasks.
Use the Show Critical Path option in the Task Filter group to identify the proj-
ect/process critical path.
