8.3.1 Control Quality: Inputs
The inputs for controlling quality in Section 8.3.1 of the PMBOK Guide are applicable inputs for controlling quality

for software projects. As described in the PMBOK Guide, inputs to software quality control include management

plans and checklists. Another significant input is the measurement plan for the prioritized quality attributes as
defined in the release criteria. Project records, especially testing and configuration management records, are
essential inputs and are typically maintained in controlled repositories.
