as memos in the memo pad.
You can download and install HotPaw Basic from the CD-ROM in the
directory \Other Applications\HotPaw, or from the web site
www.hotpaw.com/hotpaw. The HotPaw Basic files come in a zipped archive.
After unzipping the HotPaw Basic archive, you will need to hot sync the
ybasic.prc and mathlib.prc files to your PDA.
Since HotPaw Basic executes programs stored as memos, you will need to
download the translated program file to your PDA. The best way to do this is
to open the Palm Desktop, create a memo, and copy the translated program
from your computer to the memo, as shown in Figure 6-9.

The next time you perform a hot sync operation, the memo will be trans-
ferred to the PDA and ready for you to run.

1. To run your program, launch the HotPaw Basic interpreter from the
Palm’s Application Launcher.
