Blog with the Best
Blogging has become the answer to speed for many or-
ganizations—for both employees and customers. Cur-
rently, more than 40,000 new blogs are created daily. By
the time this book hits the shelves, that stat will be out-
dated. In fact, experts are already predicting that blogging
as a phenomenon has already peaked as the popular way
to speed information to your employees and customers.

no one can argue that blogging is a speedy way to com-
municate. Bloggers may post entries daily or even several
times a day. Their readers can subscribe to those “feeds”
and have those downloads dumped into their e-mail boxes
immediately. Some of the more well-known corporate
bloggers include:
Jonathan Swartz, CEO of Sun Microsystems (www.

John Mackey, president of Whole Foods Market
