such, it must be properly wrapped and sensitively
presented.
It is kinder to be gently direct than to be
cruelly silent.

Constructive Criticism
A MAJOR SUCCESS FACTOR FOR you as manager is increasing your
ability to improve the quality and effectiveness of the people under
your influence. Constructive criticism can help. When delivered
with appropriate intent and timing, it is the kindest, most gener-
ous way of saying, “Since you matter to me, I want you to be the
best you can be. My criticisms are gifts that will help you achieve
your objectives.”
As nice as that sounds in theory, what would you do if an employee
