of Gay and Lesbian
intellectual culture
covered 1968 to
1975. During
this phase,
homosexuality
was seen
in two terms.

Either as a
"secondary"
psychological
disorder
that affected
a portion of
the
population.

Or as a
normal
desire
present in
varying
degrees
within
everyone.
